Dinner at Dushanbe Teahouse in Boulder: Zia Shamsy, Ava Rowe, BJ DeMerseman, Joyce and Ernie Eberle, Sandy Kaiser, Mary Rainey, Elizabeth Hutson and Mary Williams The Dushanbe teahouse in Boulder was built as a sister city project with Boulder and Dushanbe, Tajikistan (the capital). This typical teahouse was built by Tajiks and shipped to Boulder in pieces, then assembled there by craftsman. It is a beautiful place, and we had a great dinner there. Zia is involved in this program and told us about it. |
