Our Purpose

Our purpose is to be a multi-cultural group that promotes peace and friendship in the world by building global good will through personal friendships and exchanges.

Our mission is building world understanding through personal friendships.

Our vision is to be an outstanding model as a diverse and actively involved Friendship Club representing Dallas, Texas to the world.

Our History

Friendship Force of Dallas is one of several hundred affiliated Friendship Force clubs located throughout the world. We host citizen ambassadors from clubs in other countries and visit clubs around the world.

The Dallas club was established in 1994 as part of the Friendship Force International program, founded in 1977 with about 350 clubs in 58 countries and growing. Dallas membership is about 115 people from all walks of life - professionals, seniors, singles, couples, families; we welcome anyone who loves to meet new friends at home and abroad.

Our Activities

	We host one or more inbound exchanges from other countries per year; we share our Texas lifestyles, homes and families as home hosts, day hosts or club members for one week.
	We travel on one or more outbound exchanges to other countries per year; we become part of another family's life and lifestyle for one-two weeks; we may include an additional tour.
	We travel to and host other American clubs for domestic exchanges.
	We meet monthly for cultural enrichment, fun and fellowship.
	We sponsor a "BridgeBuilder" project by supplying computers and aids for the blind in other countries.
	We attend international and regional conferences and festivals.
	We promote international understanding and personal friendships.
