Hello FF Club Members,

Our Southwest Region Conference planning committee is excited about this year’s conference agenda.  Some of the topics for this year’s conference are:

Friday: Friendship Force International Update

Saturday:  

1) Reports on FF Activity Successes

2) Communications, e.g. web sites, newsletters, e-mail round-robins, telephone committees

3) Special incoming and outgoing exchanges, e.g. Mongolia, Russia

4) Bridge-building, e.g. teaching, gardening, quilting

5) Special projects, e.g. peace missions to Jordan and Cuba

Saturday evening: Awards and Recognitions

Conference registration will be January 23^rd from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with program starting at 7 p.m.

The conference will be held at the Austin North Drury Inn & Suites located at

A reduced room rate has been negotiated if you reserve your room by January 9^th, 2004.

Rooms are $70 plus tax for either

two double beds or

king sized bed with microwave and refrigerator.

Please make your reservations directly with hotel and ask for the Friendship Force rate.

The conference application form is below. Please copy/print it, complete it and send it to us.  Each conference participant must complete and return the application with the conference fee(s) of $50.00 by January 9^th, 2004. If you plan to invite a guest for dinner then please include an additional $25.00 fee. Each participant will receive a 2004 Southwest Conference Welcome Packet.
