Itinerary:
Day 1 - Depart Dallas, TX in afternoon [2 flights currently scheduled], duration +/- 14
hours.
Day 2 - Arrive in Bucharest, Romania in afternoon with pickup by our chartered bus.
Day 3 - Bus tour of Bucharest with several stops for museums.
Day 4 - Depart by bus for Brasov with Sinai stop to tour Peles Castle and stay 2 nights in
mountain ski area at Poiana Brasov. Perhaps invite FF Brasov friends to have dinner with you
at special restaurant in this resort.
Day 5 - Bus takes us into Brasov for self guided walking tours, visit FF friends, with lunch
and dinner on your own. Late bus return to hotel in Poiana Brasov.
Day 6 - Brasov to Sibiu should have us arriving around noon for home stays.
Day 7 - 13 - Homestay in Sibiu with the bus available for group tours as determined by our
host club. Perhaps visit 3 small villages and one day to medieval city of Sighisoara by bus.
Visit to Alba Lulia citadel. *
Day 14 - Depart for Bucharest by bus with late afternoon arrival.
Day 15 - Very early air flight (6 AM usually) to return to Dallas.

Tour includes:
- round trip airport transfer arrival / departure (She will need actual arrivals and departures).
- 3 nights accommodation, 4-star hotel in Bucharest (bed & breakfast)
- 1/2 day guided city tour in Bucharest with visits
- mini bus (12 seats) transportation and 18-passenger minibus at disposal in Bucharest and 5 days
in Sibiu
- 2 nights accommodation, 4-star hotel in Poiana Brasov ( bed & breakfast)
- driver's accommodation, meal & salary in Sibiu
- entrance fees for visited objectifs in Sinaia, Brasov
Cost of tour with double occupancy, based on 8-10 people:
$800
NOTE: Cost of single occupancy - $175
NOTE: Additional nights in our 4-star hotel in
Bucharest are available for $50 per night double occupancy, $75 per night single.
Payable:
$305 Exchange fees - with application
Down payment tour:
$200 for tour due Mar 1, 2009 paid to FF Dallas club; will
be wire transferred to travel agent.
Balance of $600 to be paid in cash or credit card in
Bucharest.
Exchange fees:

- FF Sibiu Club $100 [new fee per FFI]
- FF Dallas outbound fee $25 [non-refundable]
- Contingency for tips, etc. $40

Dallas (DFW) to Bucharest (OTP) flight and return
UPDATE 2/3/09: If you don't have air tickets yet note that as of yesterday Lufthansa and
Northwest Airlines had round trip ticket from DFW to OTP for under $850.

for a flight for $769.15. This flight arrives in Bucharest on May 14 at l:35PM and leaves Bucharest on May 26th at 6:00AM.

- Purchased $850 -1100 or with FF mileage if available; NOTE: on frequent flyer
ticket, ask for your final destination, not just gateway city in Europe.
Travel Insurance:
Mandatory for trip - approximately $160
FFI recommends Travel Guard; insure for your total costs minus the $600 you pay in Bucharest

Special Considerations!!
You must have the ability to walk at a slow pace for ½ a mile and climb stairs. This will be required most days.
